Our pieces are not cast from powder or formed using molds. Molded Shungite products are typically made by compressing Shungite dust with binding agents, and they may include filler materials or surface coatings.

These coatings and additives can alter the natural surface of the stone and may interfere with its inherent physical properties, including its natural carbon structure and conductivity.

Molded Shungite has become common in the market because it is less expensive to produce and easier to mass manufacture, but it does not reflect the same quality or integrity as solid, carved Shungite.
