Authentic Shungite is a natural carbon-rich stone found primarily in Karelia, Russia, with the Zazhoginsky deposit being one of the best known sources. 

Many imitation products on the market are made from pressed powders, dyed materials, or stones sourced outside of Karelia and sold as “Shungite.” Because of this, we believe documentation and transparency are important.
