Hi-Pyramid – Shungite Golod 72° Sacred Geometry Pyramid

The Hi-Pyramid is a hand-carved Shungite pyramid crafted from authentic Karelian Shungite. Its distinctive Golod pyramid geometry features a steep 72° slope, creating a tall pyramid profile inspired by proportions related to the Golden Ratio.

Unlike the ~52° slope used in the Great Pyramids of Egypt, Golod pyramids have a slimmer, more vertical shape that has become popular in sacred geometry displays and natural stone décor.

Each Hi-Pyramid is individually carved from a single piece of Shungite by trained artisans—never cast from powder or composite material.

Product Features

Golod Pyramid Geometry – Distinctive 72° pyramid slope associated with Golod pyramid designs
Hand-Carved from Single Stone – Individually carved from one solid piece of Shungite
Authentic Karelian Shungite – Sourced from the Zazhoginsky deposit in Karelia, Russia
Natural Stone Finish – Hand-polished for a refined appearance
Durable Material – Solid Shungite maintains its physical properties over time
Sacred Geometry Design – Elegant pyramid form inspired by classical geometric proportions

About Golod Pyramid Geometry

Golod pyramid structure in Russia showing the tall 72 degree pyramid geometry developed by Alexander Golod

A large Golod pyramid built in Russia to explore pyramid geometry and proportional design. These experimental structures were constructed to study geometric pyramid forms at full scale.

Golod pyramids were developed by Russian scientist Alexander Golod beginning in the late 1980s. These pyramids use a tall geometric design based on proportions related to the Golden Ratio, producing a pyramid slope of approximately 72°.

This geometry differs from the ~52° slope used in the Great Pyramid of Giza, creating a noticeably taller pyramid profile.

Golod constructed several large experimental pyramids in Russia, some reaching heights of approximately 44 meters (144 feet), to explore pyramid geometry at architectural scale.

Reports from these experiments described observations involving plant growth, biological systems, and physical materials placed inside the pyramid structures.

About Shungite

Shungite is a naturally occurring carbon-rich mineral found primarily in the Karelia region of Russia. It is known for containing distinctive carbon structures called fullerenes, along with a high concentration of conductive carbon.

Because of this composition, Shungite has attracted scientific interest in studies examining how carbon-based materials interact with electrical and electromagnetic energy.

Many people incorporate Shungite into their living or working environments as part of a mindful approach to using natural materials in technology-heavy spaces.

Notable characteristics of Shungite include:

Electrical conductivity – related to its carbon structure
Naturally occurring fullerenes – spherical carbon molecules identified in Shungite deposits
Carbon-rich mineral composition – formed in Karelia over geological timescales
Durable natural stone – stable material that maintains its physical characteristics over time

Common Placement Ideas

Many people place Shungite pyramids near common electronics like Wi-Fi routers, computers, and desks, especially in technology-heavy environments.

Popular locations include:

  • Living rooms and shared spaces – displayed on coffee tables, shelves, or media consoles
  • Home offices and workspaces – placed on desks or near computers and technology
  • Wellness and meditation areas – incorporated into yoga rooms or relaxation spaces
  • Decorative centerpieces – used as sculptural natural stone accents in modern interiors

For bedroom environments, some customers prefer the rounded geometry of a Shungite sphere or the stable symmetry of Shungite cubes, which offer alternative forms made from the same authentic Karelian Shungite.

Recommended Placement Area

Recommended placement area:
Up to approximately 784 sq ft (about 28 ft across, general placement guidance)

The Hi-Pyramid is often selected for larger living spaces or open areas where a substantial Shungite pyramid display is desired.

Shungite’s carbon-rich composition and natural electrical conductivity have drawn scientific interest in how carbon materials interact with electromagnetic fields, which is why some choose to keep Shungite pieces in technology-filled environments.

This guideline reflects decorative placement.

Shungite & Scientific Research

Scientific research has looked at Shungite’s carbon composition and the fullerene structures found within it, especially in relation to how carbon-based materials interact with electromagnetic radiation and electrical energy.

Because Shungite is a carbon-rich, conductive material, studies have explored how it can interact with electromagnetic fields and high-frequency radiation in controlled laboratory settings.

Examples of research topics include:

Shielding effect of mineral Shungite during electromagnetic irradiation
Fullerene structures in Shungite carbon
Electrochemical properties of natural Shungite carbon

Natural veins of pyrite and quartz occur in Shungite. These mineral inclusions may appear as fine lines in the stone and are a normal characteristic of authentic Shungite rather than structural cracks.
