Part 3: Real People Tell How Their Smart Meter Made Them Sick

In the last of the Smart Meters Health Complaint Series, we’ll hear again from the voices of real people who have experienced adverse reactions to Smart Meters.

We feel it is important to share these stories as they show how varied reactions to Smart Meter radiation, as well as all forms of radiation for that matter, are. This is due to the fact that radiation works essentially to weaken the body’s own defenses and force the body to work below optimal levels. Once the body is functioning at a sub-optimal level, various symptoms begin to be experienced.

In addition to hindering function, blood work done on subjects after using a cell phone revealed blood changes such as thickening and clotting due to the radiation. These tests were highlighted in an earlier Newsletter. This change in the the viscosity of the blood is sure to hinder circulation, causing headaches and potentially more serious life-threatening conditions such as thrombosis.

Here again are the voices of real people who shared their stories with the EMF Safety Network on how Smart Meters made them sick:

1. “I have had headaches and progressive MS symptoms since the smart meter was installed. My MS symptoms now have progressed to feelings of numbness in my hands, burning sensations in my left arm, weakness in my left arm and a sense of confusion and memory loss intermittently from week to week.”

2. “My wife has a lifetime history of seizures. She is extremely sensitive to electrical and magnetic fields. Just sitting in front of a computer for too long causes her to have pre-seizure symptoms. For this reason we do not use portable phones and other RF technology. Now PG&E has forced these powerful RF Smart Meters on our neighbors and my wife’s seizure symptoms increased almost immediately.”

3. “I managed to have smart meter installation delayed at my house, but suddenly became sick overnight with palpitations, chest pain, insomnia, dizziness, inability to concentrate and memory loss and fainting spells. AFTER becoming sick I found out that the day I became suddenly sick was the day the smart meter roll-out was completed in my area and the smart meters were remotely turned on from base. I can no longer drive, I can’t work (I’m a doctor), I have to go and sleep at my mother in law’s place (there are no smart meters there yet).”

4. “Two Smart Meters were installed at our house. I began to develop a host of health problems following this: Intense Tinnitus, trembling, confusion, dizziness and bad abdominal pains, loss of appetite, moodiness and tremendous sleeping problems. I also began to drop things and break out in hives. This has never happened to me before. I am a very healthy, active person. II knew that I felt much better when I left the house, though was still foggy and out of it when I was around the neighborhood. I talked to my Dr. to see what was going on and had bloodwork done. My liver enzymes were elevated – 2x their normal rate – something caused by toxicity.”5.

5. “Within days after our smart meter was installed I experienced a very painful miscarriage. After the miscarriage I started experiencing mysterious pain throughout my body that could not be explained. My two children who are diagnosed autistic regressed in their autism after much work with behavioral therapy and other interventions.”

Radiation sickness has been documented and is acknowledged by the established medical community. Smart Meter radiation is no different than other types of radiation and should be treated as the potential health hazard it is.
