Electromagnetic Radiation Health Risks

Professor Tom Butler from the University of Cork in Ireland has authored a paper on the effects of radiofrequency radiation, also known as RFR.

Professor Butler points out in his paper that “as with any environmental toxin, the risks related to RFR exposures increase with the frequency and duration of such exposures over time”.

But, unlike other environmental toxins, radiofrequency radiation, is everywhere – and growing- says Professor Butler.

“Thus, exposure to this carcinogen and toxin is of high frequency and long, if not continuous, duration. This continuous exposure maximizes the risk of persistent and continuous oxidative stress and, consequently, makes humans vulnerable to ALL the health risks.”

“RFR is truly ubiquitous: it radiates from multiple personal and WiFi devices, routers, access points—these radiate 3-5G telecommunications and data signals, 2.4 and 5G Wifi signals and Bluetooth RFR—in the home, public spaces, hospitals, cars, in schools, and a web of antennae across the built environment.”

Professor Butler states that MedLine’s own medical database concludes that “the literature shows there is much valid reason for concern about potential adverse health effects from both 4G and 5G technology”.

According to Butler’s research, some of the potential health effects associated with RFR exposure are:

  • Carcinogenicity – Brain Tumors, Breast Cancer, Leukemia, Salivary Gland Tumors, Skin Cancers
  • Genotoxicity – DNA damage, Mutagens
  • Neurodegerative Issues – Alzheimer’s Disease, Guillane-Barre, Parkinson’s Disease, Dizziness, Ringing in the Ears, Headaches
  • Neurobehavioral Issues – Autism, Depression, Mood Swings, Irritability, Fatigue, Difficulty Concentrating
  • Reproductive Problems – Spontaneous Abortions, Miscarriages, Spotting During Pregnancy, Infertility
  • Hormonal Problems – Lowered Pineal Function, Decreased Melatonin Production, Sleep Disturbances
  • Skin Problems – Facial Flushing, Burning Skin, Rashes
  • Cardiovascular Issues – Irregular Heartbeat
  • Professor Butler ends his paper citing some other proven health risks associated with exposure to RFR, such as oxidative stress, blood-brain barrier leakage, inflammation, and chronic, low-grade digestive disturbances.

Armed with decades of published peer-reviewed studies on the myriad of health hazards associated with radiation exposure, many researchers and Professors, such as Tom Butler, are calling for a moratorium on the roll-out of 5G based on the Precautionary Principle in science.

In short, the Precautionary Principle states, if uncertain if something is harmful to health, err on the side of caution and act like it is until it can be proven otherwise.
